Folder Description
This folder contains handwritten notes and doodles by John F. Kennedy that were collected and transcribed by his secretary, Evelyn Lincoln. Materials consist of notes taken during a discussion with Secretary of Agriculture Orville Freeman; miscellaneous notes; notes taken during discussions with Special Assistant to the President Ralph Dungan and Secretary of State Dean Rusk; various notes written at his home in Middleburg, Virginia; notes written prior to meetings with Senator Clinton Anderson and Robert McKinney; notes on various subjects written on a luncheon guest list; notes written prior to a breakfast with legislative leaders and Cabinet members; notes written during an appointment with Senators Albert Gore and Estes Kefauver; notes written on the envelope of a letter from Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.; notes made during an appointment with Congressman Emmanuel Celler; and notes made during a meeting with Director of the Bureau of the Budget David Bell, Deputy Director of the Bureau of the Budget Elmer Staats, and Special Counsel to the President Theodore Sorensen.
