This folder contains constituent correspondence received by Senator John F. Kennedy's office that pertains to the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare. Topics include federal grants for Massachusetts schools and hospitals, and the fluoridation of the water supply in Springfield, Massachusetts. Publications include a copy of the Report of the Task Force on the Handicapped to the Chairman of the Manpower Policy Committee, Office of Defense Mobilization (January 1952); the 1952 Annual Report of the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, a division of the Federal Security Agency; and Doing Something for the Disabled by Mary E. Switzer and Howard A. Rusk (Pamphlet No. 197), published by the Public Affairs Committee.
