This folder contains miscellaneous correspondence and enclosures sent to the Council of Economic Advisers by individuals whose last names begin with the letter B. The material is filed roughly in reverse chronological order according to the date of the carbon copy reply. Items include a speech by William F. Butler before the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; a speech by Walter W. Heller to the New York Society of Security Analysts on "The Tax Program and Business Investment"; a brochure for the 12th Annual National Symposium of the Federal Government Accountants Association; a report submitted to the U.S. Travel Service by the Travel Advisory Committee titled "International Tourism: Constructive Force in the Expansion of Foreign Trade"; a document issued by the Council of Economic Advisers titled "Summary of Economic Developments in 1962 and Prospects and Policies for the Mid-1960s"; a "How's Business with You?" survey from the National Federation of Independent Business; two brochures concerning the World Bank; and a booklet from the Automobile Manufacturers Association titled "An Analysis of the Federal Excise Tax on New Passenger Automobiles." Note that this file contains some misfiled correspondence from 1962.
