45th Annual PEN/Hemingway Award Celebration

Seán Hemingway, Ernest Hemingway’s grandson, honors the winner and finalists for the 2021 PEN/Hemingway Award for Debut Novel at this celebration. The 2020 PEN/Hemingway Award winner and finalists will also be honored. Award-winning filmmakers Ken BurnsLynn Novick, and Sarah Botstein, creators of the forthcoming documentary series Hemingway, will discuss the cultural importance of authors and stories in a keynote conversation. The Kennedy Library is the major repository of Ernest Hemingway’s personal papers.
